The Blue Ridge Wildlife Center works to rescue and rehabilitate over 2000 mammals, reptiles and birds each year. It also runs education and outreach programs to increase awareness about Virginia’s native species and the need for conservation, with the additional goal of preventing environmental pollution, disease and abuse. The Center offers its services free of charge, and runs on donations. Interested parties can help by donating, volunteering, interning and generally supporting the Center in its work.
